Rural Communities Foundation of Nova Scotia

The Rural Communities Foundation of Nova Scotia is a charity and a community foundation that supports community organizations in rural Nova Scotia, through convening, grant-making, and capacity-building. For more than 20 years, RCFofNS has been developing and delivering grant programs and have been widely recognized for our excellence and leadership in the field of rural grant-making.

Using the lens of the UN Sustainable goals, the Rural Communities Foundation of Nova Scotia supports community-based initiatives in rural Nova Scotia. We convene to improve our understanding of issues facing communities. We develop funds and offer grants that seek to help with community-based solutions to problems and challenges. Ultimately RCFofNS’s mandate is to support projects that enhance and sustain rural communities.
