YWCA Peterborough

For 126 years the YWCA has been a leader for local women, providing transitional housing, education, counselling and practical supports such as community-based food programs. We have been a leader in expanding our community safety net for abused women. YWCA received the Chamber of Commerce Not-for-Profit Business Excellence Award in 2009 and 2013, and an Attorney General Award of Distinction for Victim Services in 2014 for our START program.
