The Thompson-Nicola Regional District (TNRD) is a local governmental that provides services for 11 municipalities, 22 First Nations and countless rural and remote rural unincorporated communities located in 10 Electoral Areas that cover over 45,000 sq km. When possible the TNRD also partners with community groups on local projects that contribute the vibrancy and viability of small municipalities and rural and remote communities.
