STEAM Education Centre

At the STEAM Centre, our heart and mind is in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. We create innovative curriculum for teachers, provide workshops for all ages of learners, and provide support and a collaborative space where the public can access 3D Printing, CNC, and other STEAM tools to work on projects.

The mission of the STEAM Centre is to empower all learners and makers in Southwestern Ontario to create the future through play, ingenuity and exploration using STEAM learning tools. In doing so, the Centre delivers a comprehensive educational model focused on developing the creativity and problem-­solving necessary to explore ideas and foster growth. The Government of Ontario, City of St. Thomas, and the Estate of Dorothy Fay Palmer have generously supported the STEAM Education Centre.
