Soccer Without Boundaries (SWB) was founded in 2010 as a grassroots, free, drop-in soccer club for under-served youth in Calgary’s southwest. SWB seeks to remove boundaries to personal growth, inclusion and personal success among children of low-income and immigrant families. This year’s annual soccer camp will expose 120 children and around 30 youth to the opportunities and struggles faced by immigrants to Alberta from the time of the Prairie Immigration Boom in 1867 to today. Our BBQ and party on the last day will celebrate our diversity and the contributions we all can make to the Canada of today.
