Quinte Arts Council advocates for artists and arts organizations; provides effective, accessible communication tools; engages artists in our programs and events; provides arts education opportunities for artists and students; provides professional development activities for artists; fosters and engages in dialogue about the arts in our community.
“Command Performance Choir” is Prince Edward County’s community choir, founded in 1988. The choir was formed by a small group of local singers who had come together with various artists and groups from as far away as Kingston to perform in the Quinte Summer Music Festival. The choir has about 35 members from all over Prince Edward County as well as Trenton and Belleville.
