Since 2007, QUADRA CIRCLE’s purpose has been to provide outreach and support services to vulnerable and isolated residents of Quadra Island (population 2400). Our services are run by seniors for seniors. Volunteers on the Executive Committee guide operation and development of services. Others lead our programs: a weekly Lunch with armchair exercise and an educational talk, volunteer drivers, Caregiver support, home-delivered meals, subsidized foot care, school volunteers and Peer Counsellors Outreach. We network with other community services to improve efficiencies, recruit volunteers and assist residents to access local and government services at our office in the village centre. Popular exercise and social activities take place in our Seniors Activity Centre at Quadra School on Mondays and Wednesdays.
