County Kids Read is an initiative of the Prince Edward County Arts Council. The mission of County Kids Read is to address the link between poverty and literacy by providing free books to low income families and at risk children and youth in Prince Edward County. County Kids Reads works with thirteen community partners and hands out five hundred books monthly.
