Kimberley Arts Council – Kimberley First Saturday

KAC Mission: to foster active participation by people of all ages and capabilities in all art forms by providing exhibitions, performances, and programs in a wide array of arts activities in safe and inviting facilities.
Mandate includes:
To engage in and promote activities and events which broaden the opportunities for community participation in arts and culture; to stimulate and develop arts and cultural activities; to act as a clearing house for arts and cultural activities.
First Saturday Kimberley – A Celebration of Arts, Culture and Heritage
A monthly Festival of Arts and Culture & Heritage on the first Saturday of each month from May to October.

Create awareness and enhance existing community arts, culture and heritage activities.

Increase participation of local community and visitors in Kimberley events.

Promote partnerships between community organizations and local business.
