I practice law in my home First Nation of Ermineskin Cree, in Maskwacis Treaty 6 territory in Alberta. I am serving my final term as Vice President of the Canadian Commission for UNESCO (www.unesco.ca), and I am on the Steering Committee of Indigenous Climate Action (www.indigenousclimateaction.com). I am consulting legal counsel for International Indian Treaty Council (www.treatycouncil.org), one of the convening organizations for the Indigenous Peoples Major Group (SDGs). I am also a member of the Assembly of First Nations Advisory Committee on Climate Action and the Environment, and am Co-Chair of the Indigenous Circle of Experts for the Pathway to Canada Target 1 Initiative, providing advice to Canadian governments on how to fulfill our international commitment to Aichi Target 11 under the International Convention on Biological Diversity (http://www.conservation2020canada.ca/home/)
