Guelph Dance aims to engage and enthrall. We strive to be a nationally recognized leader in contemporary dance by offering a platform for professional, new-generation, and youth dance artists to share their vision, push creative boundaries, and engage community audiences. We present dance in theatres, but also take it outside into parks, streets and schools, knowing that this exposure will educate the populace and attendance at Guelph Dance events, ultimately increasing support for Canadian dance. Guelph Dance is concerned and passionate about the teaching and support of youth through presentation, training, and education. Guelph Dance has served the Canadian dance community since 1998 and will celebrate its 19th anniversary in 2017.

Our main activities include an annual Dance Festival, a March Break arts camp, summer arts camp, workshops in schools, and co-productions with the University of Guelph and our Fab 5partners (Hillside Festival, Guelph Jazz Festival, Guelph Film Festival, Eden Mill’s Writers Festival).
