Friends of Historical Northern Alberta Society (FHNAS)

We are a not-for-profit group whose mission is to “Preserve & Promote the History of Northern Alberta.” Our first major project is the creation of History Check: Everything Needed to Explore Northern Alberta. This is a website and smartphone app that will tell the stories of northern Alberta’s history, characters and events through the use of geographically placed, pop up icons or Points of Interest. Other events and collaborations will be created to bring historical tourism to our area.
