Forward House Community Society

Forward House Community Society provides day programs for adult clients with mental health and/or addiction challenges in District 69. We offer education programs, expressive therapies, recreation, and the Healthy Eating Meal Program (6 lunches and 3 dinners per week + education). We provide a strengths-based culture that focuses on individuals’ talents and abilities. We create a safe, friendly, and family-like environment where we empower clients to develop/maintain independence and autonomy by giving them tools to enhance their skills. We also provide support groups for caregivers, conduct community presentations on stigma and compassionate communication, and host several practicum students each year.
