The mission if the Digby Neck Collective Society is to create a connected, purposeful and valued community. It hosts a variety of activities such as workshops, information sessions, public forums, social events, community suppers, open to all residents of Digby Neck at minimal cost, and provides and opportunity for knowledge sharing and volunteerism, with the belief that everyone has something to offer or learn. The Society is open to all residents of Digby Neck, and all activities are volunteer run. The Eldridge Memorial Library, our partner in the Inspiring Community Connections Project, and located in Sandy Cove, Digby Neck, has operated in the summer months since 1936. In addition to the loaning of books, it hosts activities such as Yoga classes, craft mornings, genealogy sessions, author readings and social events. In the winter months, books from the Library are made available through the Digby Neck Collective.
