Dasiqox Tribal Park is an expression of Indigenous governance initiated by the Xeni Gwet’in First Nations Government and Yunesit’in Government, and supported by the Tsilhqot’in National Government. The tribal park concept presents an alternative vision for the management and governance of the land in this area, that reflects the values of the local people who live from the land. It is located about 125 kilometres southwest of Williams Lake, BC.

Dasiqox Tribal Park Initiative, a project on the Tides Canada Shared Platform, supports the Tribal Park by advancing biocultural conservation through research and education about ecological and cultural values of the area. Its overarching goal is to ensure the park is a place where people, land, waters, and animals can restore, heal and sustain each other.
