Cross Cultural Learner Centre

The London Cross Cultural Learner Centre (CCLC) is a community organization which exists to provide services and support to newcomers, and to promote intercultural awareness and understanding. Our vision is to build a more welcoming and just community where newcomers can succeed.

In our work, we are guided by the values of accountability, advocacy, compassion, diversity, empowerment, and ethics.Since 1968, our agency is the longest-serving London organization supporting cultural exchange, community education and newcomer settlement services and support.

Settlement support for government-assisted refugees include accommodation and reception in Jeremiah’s House Reception Centre; settlement supports for GARS, permanent residents and all other eligible newcomers include orientation services, paraprofessional counselling, language assessment and referral, community networking connections and activities, information and referral, document translation, interpretation and language support, job search and employment supports.
