Corporation of the Township of Scugog

The Township of Scugog is a Municipal government within Durham Region. Through Council direction, we facilitate the regular business of the municipality. We also provide many services to the residents and businesses in our community. Our business includes effectively building and maintaining municipal roads and infrastructure, improving the financial stability through growth and development, creating conditions to develop and attract new business and employment opportunities, providing public services that are efficient, effective, and affordable, celebrating the Township’s natural environment, and encouraging the involvement of all Scugog citizens in sustaining and enhancing the quality of life in our community. We work together to make Scugog one of the best communities to live, work and play.
