To celebrate our nation’s 150th birthday and the coming of the 2018 Commonwealth Games to the Gold Coast Canada Welcomes the Queen’s Baton to Canada from July 27th -August 2nd visiting each previous Canadian host city! After it’s arrival in Toronto, Hamilton the original and founding city of the 1930 British Empire Games will welcome the Baton to the birth place of the games including the original athletes village, pool and track & field stadium now known as Tim Horton’s Field. The event will combine special guests, past Commonwealth Games athletes and a sports cultural festival for youth!
