The CMOW WISE seniors programs provides weekly opportunities for seniors and/or individuals living with disabilities or chronic illness to participate in social, recreational, educational programs in the apartment buildings where they live and/or in locations in their community. These programs are tailored to the interests of the clients as well as identified needs by local community service providers and caregivers.

The primary objective of these programs is to;
– decrease social isolation
– improve client access and transition to community and health services
– improve health and well-being through social-recreational-educational programming

The focus of this program is to engage seniors in a variety of health promotion activities that aim to increase their knowledge and connection to community resources provide opportunities for interaction and socialization and provide gentle exercise and falls prevention activities.
