Located at the end of Todd’s Point Road, Dufferin, New Brunswick, the St. Croix Estuary Project Inc (SCEP), is the parent organization of The Ganong Nature Park.  SCEP was established in 1992 as a science based not-for-profit organization dedicated to fostering community-based responses to the ecosystem health of the St. Croix Estuary area and its resources.  SCEP was one of the original Atlantic Coastal Action Program (ACAP) sites funded by Environment Canada and the Environmental Trust Fund, and has provided regular environmental monitoring services of the St. Croix Estuary since its inception.
In 2002, SCEP acquired the Ganong Nature Park with the help of a community based fundraising campaign and through a generous contribution by the Whidden Ganong estate.  The Park encompasses a total of 350 acres of tidal estuary, fields and forest.  The property is adjacent to the St. Croix River and Oak Bay and provides several kilometers of trails, fields and beach areas for exploration and enjoyment.
The Park is used daily by the local residents of Charlotte County for hiking, biking, dog walking, snowshoeing, sliding, kite flying and simply enjoying the beauty of the area.
