The London InterCommunity Health Centre provides health and social services to Londoners through an interdisciplinary team of community workers, doctors, nurse practitioners, nurses, social workers, dietitians, outreach workers, medical secretaries, and support staff. In addition to medical services, we offer community-based programs and services that address the social determinants of health, including income, education, employment, housing, food security, recreation, and social supports.
Grounded in a Community Development approach, Health Centre services and programs are driven by community initiatives and community needs. The community development approach builds on community leadership, knowledge, and the lived experiences of members and partners to contribute to the health of their communities. The Health Centre increases the capacity of local communities to address their needs and improve their community and individual health and wellbeing outcomes.
Our vision is to build opportunities for healthy and inclusive communities, and we value social justice, equity, caring, inclusion, and respect.
