Museum Strathroy-Caradoc opened to the public in 1972 as the Strathroy Middlesex Museum. As a community museum we preserve and tell the story of Strathroy-Caradoc, and inspire residents to explore and understand the community around them. Through a variety of programs and initiatives, Museum Strathroy-Caradoc continually strives to engage the residents of Strathroy-Caradoc and promote community participation and ownership. Museum Strathroy-Caradoc aims to provide unique experiences that engage and inspire visitors. This is achieved through the presentation of exhibitions and interpretive displays, programs and activities, tours and events, and the appropriate use of emergent technologies to enhance the visitor experience.
