Fort Erie Festivals promotes Friendship Festival celebrating the good relations between Canada and the United States of America since the end of the War of 1812 and supports and promotes better relations between the two countries. The Festival also supports and promotes the economic development of the Region of Niagara South in general, and the Town of Fort Erie in particular through tourism-directed initiatives and cultural activities.

The Friendship Festival is the one of the liveliest celebrations of peace and friendship you’ll ever witness. After 30 years our overall theme continues to be “lasting friendship within our growing heritage”, in which we encompass a wide range of activities, displays and events for the whole community and our many diverse visitors.

Friendship Festival Sesquicentennial Celebration

Over the course of four days Robertson’s Amusement is returning to provide thrills and fun for the whole family along with our popular concert series, award winning food vendors, and merchandise tents.

July 14 & 15, 2017 Concert Series

Join us during the 31st Annual Friendship Festival Concert featuring a varied of entertainment including rising stars from our own community. Friday and Saturday evening shows in inclusive family licensed area which offers food, shopping and activities for the family.

July 14-16, 2017 – Family Zone

The interactive family zone highlights environmental awareness utilizing a series of hands on displays provided by local and regional environmental groups showcasing information on the Emerald Ash Borer, community gardens and native seed, Reptile Display, Invasive Species Awareness. and more .

July 14-16 2017 – Living History – Celebrating Canada’s Sesquicentennial

In honour of the rich heritage of the Niagara Region and the Sesquicentennial a series of exhibitions and displays will be showcased honouring those that helped form this great nation. Included is an 1812 era village complete with campfires, period cooking and musket demonstrations. In addition to this will be displays hosted by our Multi-cultural and Native Friendship Centres complete with demonstrations and displays.
