The Old School Gathering Place Co-operative Ltd.

Situated in a heritage building on the Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia, the Old School has a mandate to improve the health and well-being of those who live along the Eastern Shore. We provide programs in the community and are a heritage centre for art, culture, wellness and innovation. Most of our programming is for seniors as they make up 40% of our population. We have also developed a small social enterprise where local artists can display and sell their work. Our rooms are used for agency and community meetings and the Old School has been instrumental in assisting new initiatives to develop.
