Augusta Township Public Library

Our project is 150 Years of “The Stones of Augusta” The Augusta Township Public Library is partnering with the Grenville County Historical Society, author Sandra Robertson, and editor Bonnie Gaylord to publish, launch and promote the book “The Stones of Augusta” . This book will include illustrations and notes on the history of the stone buildings in Augusta Township, Our municipality is located on the St. Lawrence River in an area rich with relics of First Nations people, Loyalist settlement, the War of 1812, and the growth and development of Canada through confederation and beyond.
