St. Matthew’s House

St. Matthew’s House is a not-for-profit, multi-service agency located in Hamilton. We have been serving those most in need in our community since the mid-sixties. We operate a children’s centre, two senior centres, offer transitional housing and crisis management for seniors, as well as we operate two food banks (with a third one opening in the spring of 2018). Our mission at St. Matthew’s House is to be a place of hope that supports people in need. Our vision is to provide hope and support for people to reach their full potential and lead fulfilling lives. By providing case management, referrals and resources, we work with individuals to start to lift themselves out of poverty and become less reliant on community supports.
